Linksys ATA Device Setup
1. Attach ethernet cable from your VoIP Adapter to empty port on your router
2. Attach any standard telephone to phone jack on your VoIP adapter
3. Attach power cord to your VoIP adapter, and plug in to wall socket
4. Access the ATA menu by typing 192.168.1.xxx into your browser
5. Find the Admin Login/Advanced page
6. Enter the following settings in the appropriate areas:
Proxy: [the IP Address we send you]
User ID: [the username we send you]
Password: [the password we send you]
Display Name: [the name you want to show on caller ID]
Register Expires: 3600 sec
Preferred Codec: G711u
NAT Mapping Enable: Yes
NAT Keep Alive Enable: Yes
RTP Packet Size: .020 [this will be on th SIP page]
NAT Keep Alive Intvl: 15 [this will be on the SIP page]
7. Reboot ATA by clicking "submit all changes"
8. Wait a few seconds, pick up telephone, and listen for dial tone
If No Dial tone:
1. Lift telephone receiver, dial ****110#
2. Listen to telephone, and device will speak the IP address of the VoIP adapter
3. Write down the IP address of the VoIP adapter (ie: 192.168.0.xxx)
4. Look on bottom of the VoIP adapter for MAC address # (ie: 000E08BCxxxx)
5. Write down MAC address #
1. Using your browser, type in IP address of your router (ie: 192.168.0.xxx)
2. Enter your router username & password (if needed)
3. Find the DHCP section
4. Find the Static DHCP option
5. Click enable to allow DHCP server to assign same IP address to specific MAC address
6. Add the MAC address of the VoIP adapter
7. Choose an IP address to have assigned every time to the VoIP adapter
8. Find the DMZ zone in router
9. Enter either the "MAC address" or "Newly created IP Address" of the VoIP adapter in that area, and reboot router
10. This should now allow the VoIP adapter data to run through your router
